Current guidelines for limiting social contacts

The federal and state governments yesterday agreed on the following extensions to the guidelines for restricting social contacts adopted on March 12:
• Citizens are encouraged to reduce contact with other people outside of their own household to an absolutely necessary minimum.
• Wherever possible, a minimum distance of at least 1.5 m must be kept from the public, other than those mentioned under I.
• Spending time in the public space is only permitted on your own, with another person who does not live in the household or with members of your own household.
• The way to work, emergency care, shopping, visits to the doctor, participation in meetings, necessary appointments and exams, help for other or individual sports and exercise in the fresh air as well as other necessary activities are of course still possible.
• Groups of people celebrating in public places, in apartments and private institutions are unacceptable given the serious situation in our country. Violations of the contact restrictions should be monitored by the regulatory authorities and the police and sanctioned in the event of violations.
• Restaurants are closed. This does not apply to the delivery and collection of take-away meals for consumption at home.
• Service companies in the field of personal care such as hairdressers, cosmetic studios, massage practices, tattoo studios and similar companies are closed because physical proximity is essential in this area. Medically necessary treatments remain possible.
• In all companies and especially those with public traffic, it is important to comply with the hygiene regulations and to implement effective protective measures for employees and visitors.
• These measures should be valid for at least two weeks.
Please adhere strictly to the rules and actively contribute to curbing the spread of the coronavirus

++ Corona Virus – 15th of March 2020 ++

We have set up a Corona Virus Task Force that constantly monitors the situation and coordinates possible measures to be able to react to current developments.

We do our utmost to support the value chain from growers to end customers as optimal as possible. We have optimized the security of our supply chain, and our internal logistics/terminal is secured by limited access for outsiders - all that in order to ensure that we can deliver plants to our customers through a long spring period. We are also in close, daily contact with our logistic partners to secure our deliveries.

Our office will be "open" as normal, but with reduced physical staffing in the offices, to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

This situation is certainly a challenge for everyone involved. If you have any questions, please contact your usual contact person.

We are prepared and we will do our best to be extra flexible and helpful during this time.
